A-Maze-Ing Robot Valentines

February 12, 2015Cards, Projectscards, mazes, robots, Valentine'sMike

Why settle for those un-amazing Valentines from the store when you can create your own personal…and even interactive cards. Our daughter (with the help of Mommy) made these robot cards on the computer, printed them out on card stock and attached maze games for their torsos.  We think they turned out as the robots say, “a-maze-ing!”

Didn’t Your Mother Tell You Never to Play With Your Food?

February 11, 2015everyday artfood art, lunchtimeMike

You’re always told as a kid by your parents not to play with your food…but what do you do when you’re the parent and you play with your kids’ food? With a little bit of creativity, a lunchtime meal can be turned into a funny face, an animal, or a monster. Just a warning: Once you start, your kid may never stop asking for a “monster sandwich.”
